TIN has been an essential part of the Charlottesville business community for four decades—bringing together sustainability, affordable resale shopping, and support for seniors in need.

Our model since the very beginning. The staff, board, and 160 volunteers are proud to find new homes for old stuff, keeping quality goods out of landfills while making them available to shoppers at affordable prices.

Our Impact

Our curated resale boutiques offer a unique local shopping experience that’s affordable and accessible to everyone. Proceeds from every sale are funneled directly back into the community each year through grants to local nonprofits that help seniors live safe, secure, and connected lives. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our donors, volunteers, and shoppers.
