Exciting News: We're Moving to 600 Preston Avenue!
We are thrilled to announce that Twice Is Nice has purchased the Reid Super-Save Market property at 600 Preston Avenue. This milestone acquisition will secure our future in the neighborhood we've called home for 40 years and will also preserve a neighborhood landmark, while expanding our ability to serve the community.
After necessary and shopper-friendly renovations, we plan to consolidate our two current Preston Avenue locations into this single, larger space in early 2026. This move will allow us to:
* Better serve our community with an improved shopping experience
* Increase our capacity to accept and process donations
* Expand our annual grant-giving to support more seniors in need
* Preserve the historic character of the Preston Avenue corridor

For four decades, Twice Is Nice has been more than just a store – we're a vibrant community where sustainability meets social impact. Our track record speaks to our commitment:
* More than $2 million in grants distributed to nonprofits serving seniors in need in the past decade
* $270,000 awarded to more than 30 organizations in 2024 alone
* More than 100% growth in sales since 2019
* 140 dedicated volunteers providing 75% of our workforce
Now, we're embarking on an exciting new chapter that will expand our impact for generations to come. Our new home at 600 Preston Avenue represents a transformative opportunity to create a sustainable foundation for future growth while maintaining our commitment to affordable, high-quality goods and environmental sustainability.

We are currently in the initial phase of our capital campaign, working closely with foundations and major donors to secure the funding needed for this transformative project. A public fundraising phase will launch in Summer 2025.
