History

Twice is Nice has been an integral part of the Charlottesville community for more than 40 years. Long before recycling and repurposing were in vogue, our upscale resale boutique offered curated and unique shopping at affordable prices. In January 2019 we opened Twice is Nice 2, more than doubling our square footage and enabling us to welcome and receive even more inventory, including large furniture. More space led to more donations,
more sales, more income, and more than $500,000 in grants in 2022 and 2023.
